April Community Newsletter
We are trying something new. People keep asking us what do we actually do? So our staff have kindly offered to write up a monthly newsletter of sorts, detailing what actually goes on at the house and how things work.
At Who Cares House we offer a range of services aimed at helping the community in various ways. We have contacts with other organisations, like AA, PACT, RISE, Homebuilders, Womans Refuge and various other support services and can help you make contact with services specific to your needs. In addition to acting as a connection hub, we also offer some of our own services and local support so that you don’t have to travel out of town to get help, just down the road.
And a Kaiāwhina? Well a Kaiāwhina is a helper who can have a chat, do blood pressure checks and makes a good cup of tea.
The Reefton clinic is usually on the second Thursday of the month down at Who Cares House. Appointments are available from 11am until 2pm. Drop in is from 2:30pm until 3:30pm. To make an appointment phone Who Cares House on 732 8631.
