Funding Crisis
Reefton Who Cares House is facing our worst funding crisis. Without additional funding we will have no choice but to close our doors. Learn all about our situation and how you can help in this post.
At Who Cares House we offer a range of services aimed at helping the community in various ways. We have contacts with other organisations, like AA, PACT, RISE, Homebuilders, Womans Refuge and various other support services and can help you make contact with services specific to your needs. In addition to acting as a connection hub, we also offer some of our own services and local support so that you don’t have to travel out of town to get help, just down the road.
And a Kaiāwhina? Well a Kaiāwhina is a helper who can have a chat, do blood pressure checks and makes a good cup of tea.
The Reefton clinic is usually on the second Thursday of the month down at Who Cares House. Appointments are available from 11am until 2pm. Drop in is from 2:30pm until 3:30pm. To make an appointment phone Who Cares House on 732 8631.

Trish Saunders, a local artist and volunteer at Reefton Who Cares House, has come up with her own proposal to help fund Who Cares in the long term. Please take the time to give her proposal the thought it deserves.
